Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of skoliosis.my (the “Website”), a scoliosis education resource published by Chiropractic Specialty Center® (“CSC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. Stop using the Website if you do not agree.

1. Educational Purpose

The Website provides general educational information about scoliosis, spinal curves, warning signs and care pathways. It does not provide individual medical, chiropractic, physiotherapy, legal or other professional advice. Use of the Website, including sending a message, does not create a practitioner-patient relationship.

The health-content disclaimer forms part of these Terms. Urgent symptoms should be directed to emergency or appropriate medical services rather than to the Website.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use the Website for lawful personal and informational purposes. You must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with Website security or operation, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, misuse contact channels, send unlawful or misleading content, or use automated tools to copy or extract substantial Website content without written permission.

3. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Website text, graphics, illustrations, logos, layout and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Chiropractic Specialty Center and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. “Chiropractic Specialty Center” and associated marks may not be used in a way that suggests authorization, endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial reference while retaining attribution and notices. Reproduction, republication, adaptation, systematic extraction, commercial use or distribution of substantial content requires prior written permission unless applicable law permits it.

4. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may link to research sources, maps, messaging services, social platforms and other third-party resources. CSC does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms or privacy practices. Accessing a third-party service is subject to that provider’s own terms.

5. Website Availability and Security

CSC may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of the Website. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or freedom from all errors or harmful components. Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate device, browser and security safeguards.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, the Website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. CSC does not accept responsibility for loss arising solely from reliance on general Website information, interruption of access, or use of a third-party link. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

7. Personal Data and Communications

Personal data submitted through Website forms, email, telephone or messaging services is handled under applicable Malaysian data-protection requirements, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and amendments in force from time to time, together with the Privacy Policy. Health information may be sensitive; submit only information reasonably needed for the inquiry.

Email, social media and third-party messaging services may not provide immediate, confidential or emergency communication. Do not use them for urgent symptoms. By choosing a third-party communication channel, you also accept that provider’s own privacy and security practices.

8. Changes to the Website and These Terms

CSC may update Website content and these Terms when practices, technology, evidence or applicable law changes. Revised Terms take effect when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Subject to any mandatory legal right or procedure, disputes relating to the Website are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

10. Severability and No Waiver

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms or the Website may be sent through the verified Chiropractic Specialty Center Contact Us page. Current branch addresses, telephone numbers, WhatsApp details, email addresses and opening hours are maintained there.
